Becky and Joe celebrate the first full week of warm summer weather in Portland by taking a look at wacky summer festivals across the nation. Joe shares some news from opposite world. Becky shares a story about a new “mega-creature” movie in production in Hollywood. Joe breaks one of his toes — but not for the show — it just happened. Becky introduces the listeners to the Naked Cowboy in NYC who seems to be having some legal problems. And Joe talks about the show’s iPhone/iPad app in development.

After a two week absence – some might call it a hiatus – we’re back with an episode devoted to the 25th Anniversary of the 1985 cult classic, “The Goonies” from Warner Bros. Studios. This is Joe Wilson, co-host of The Becky and Joe Show, and I have some apologizing to do. Becky does not as she did what she was supposed to do. I alone am responsible for a lack of shows the last two weeks and the lack of communication to you, the listeners, about that fact.

Joe admits how tough Becky is because she was able to do the show when she was down with pneumonia in the winter. Joe conducts another one of his trans-Atlantic interviews when he talks to Chris Miller, a friend and fellow journalist who recently arrived in Ukraine for Peace Corp training.
